Actually, according to information received from sources, Varun Dhawan has agreed to do Border 2 and the actor will play the lead role in the film along with Sunny Deol. Border 2 is the biggest film of Indian cinema and the team is making it even bigger with the casting by casting Varun Dhawan in the lead role along with Sunny Deol.

The shooting of the film will begin this month

Border 2 is scheduled to hit the floors in November 2024. Varun is likely to join the shooting after the release of Baby John in December".

Ayushmann Khurrana out of Border 2

Earlier, Ayushmann Khurrana was going to be a part of this film, but then he backed out from it. According to a recent report, Ayushmann was in talks with the makers of Border 2 for a long time. He was reportedly offered to play the role of an army soldier in the film. However, now he has backed out from this project, as he was not sure about being a part of Sunny Deol's team.

Let us tell you that director JP Dutta's cult classic Border completed 27 years in June 2024. After this Sunny Deol has given a big surprise to the audience by announcing the sequel Border 2. Sunny shared an announcement video on Twitter, in which he said, "27 years ago a soldier had promised that he would come back. To fulfill that promise, to say his salute to the soil of India, he is coming." Sharing the video, the actor wrote, "A soldier is coming again to fulfill his 27-year-old promise". India's biggest war film, Border 2, will be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta. While it will be directed by Anurag Singh".

 The film Border is a 1997 Hindi language blockbuster war film based on the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.
